The event gathered a wide audience – athletes, journalists, PR and SMM specialists, content makers, representatives of the media community, federations and coaches.

Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Sapiyev opened the conference, stressing the importance of cooperation between the sports community and the media for the development of Kazakhstani sports.

The speakers of the conference were the President of the Professional Boxing Federation Rakhimzhan Yerdenbekov, Chairman of the Union of Athletes of Kazakhstan Azamat Karlygashev, Goodwill Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sergey Tsyrulnikov and other prominent representatives of Kazakhstani sports.

Rakhimzhan Yerdenbekov in his speech on the topic «Professional boxing. A new vision. The problems of professional sports and the impact of corruption,» stressed the need to amend the law on sports. He noted that the lack of a developed professional boxing industry hinders its growth and development. Yerdenbekov named personnel shortage, the need to protect the rights of boxers, their interests, as well as ensuring transparency and honesty of fights among the urgent problems.

The President of the Federation particularly noted the mission and tasks of the organization. The KPBF sets ambitious goals for itself – the development and popularization of the professional boxing industry, as well as health protection, social and legal protection of professional boxers and coaches.

The conference became a platform for the exchange of experience, discussions and the search for new solutions aimed at the development of the sports industry in Kazakhstan.
